A deluxe box set for Mother 3 was recently announced on Hobo Nikkan Itoi Shinbun's Mother 3 website. The deluxe set will consist of the Mother 3 game for GBA, a special edition red Mother 3 Game Boy micro with Mother 3 faceplate (oooh, aaah), and a Franklin Badge patch. The set will sell for 18,000 yen and will be available for preorder in limited quanities starting 3/1.

The Mother 3 site that was introduced several days ago just underwent another update. This time in the form of screenshots of a nearly completed version of the game as well as a cell phone ring tone.

You can head over to the site to check both of them out. The screenshots can be found in the third present while the information about the ring tone is found in the forth. The ring tone melody is based on the recently announced theme of Mother 3: “Love Theme.” Unfortunately, it appears that only cell phones will be able to access and download the ring tone. Give it a shot on your phone and see if it’ll work.
